PAHUS Privacy notice:

One of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document describes the types of information that are collected and recorded by the project, how we use them, and how to get in touch if you need to.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our website. It does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

What data do we collect?

We collect anonymous data about website usage in log files, including visitors’ internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and their path through the site. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable and are only collected so we can analyse the use of the site.

We collect the following personal data on this website if you choose to give it to us:

· Your name and email address

· The photos and/or text you share with us on ‘Our stories’

The lawful basis that is used to process this personal data is ‘Public task’. We do not collect special category data on the forum.

We present some content on this site that research participants have shared with us, with their knowledge and consent. It is about their personal experience but does not identify them. The lawful basis that is used to process their personal data is ‘Public task’, and for special category data (such as ethnicity or age) it is ‘Research purposes’. All participants are given this information verbally and via the Participant Information Sheets before they consent to taking part. If you or any research participants want to follow up on this, please contact your researcher or email engage@pahus.org

 

How do we collect your data?

We collect your name and email address that you consent to provide to us by completing an online form signing up to our mailing list.

We collect your name and email address if you give it to us when you send us text or photos or films  for online exhibitions or events, . However, you can comment anonymously if you wish, without using a logon and password.

How will we use your data?

Your name and email address is used only for the purpose of sending you newsletters and other project updates as pertinent. The email service has an ‘unsubscribe’ option and you can remove your address from the mailing list at any time, or one of the team can do this for you if you email engage@pahus.org.

If we are collecting comments on the forum as a source of research data and will make live those comments which don’t identify individuals.

How do we store your data?

We store your name and email address in an encrypted folder stored with in the WIX  platform  which meets GDPR and ISO27001 security standards. We also store your email address in an account on our bulk email provider, Sendinblue, which is GDPR compliant.​

Marketing

We do not share the personal data you have given us with any other organisation.

 

Children's information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

PAHUS does not knowingly collect any identifying information from children under the age of 13, online. If you think that your child has provided this kind of information to us, please contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

 

What are your data protection rights?

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Everyone who uses this website and who submits comments to the forum is entitled to the following:

· The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

· The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.

· The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

· The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

· The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to us processing your personal data, under certain conditions.

· The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you have made a comment on the forum and wish to remove it, please contact us. It may not be possible to do this if the comment has been submitted anonymously.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behaviour information which we access via Google Analytics. When you visit our website, we collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology. This is not identifying data, we do not share it with any other organisation, and it is collected purely to evaluate the use of the PAHUS website.
